The possibilities seem endless. I read that the master tapes for Days Of Future Past were found to be deterioated and virtually unusable in 1978., so remastering took place, and everything released after that time was arguably sub-standard. So, I figure that in both cases I should stick to earlier copy releases. If anyone can help me narrow my search it would be appreciated. Should I be looking for releases from particular countries, specific pressings etc. I don't know a lot about the manufacturing possibilities out there, but I do know when the one I have sounds like crap! For this kind of question I'd direct you to either discogs.com where you can read reviews of each pressing, or forums.stevehoffman.tv where they get into more of these type of discussions especially regarding classic albums. I unfortunately don't think you'll find this site as helpful with these type of questions as your last question. They didn't just remaster Days of Future Passed, they remixed it. Any OG version is going to be great. The Moody Blues are easy to collect because there's a shitload of nice copies out there and they're always cheap.
