PO NOW: Alexisonfire Box Set

AOF are my absolute favourite band, and I've got a complete variant collection, so I grabbed all 5 individual records and the box set.
However, these prices really do suck, and I think that's reflected in the fact that everything is still available!

In the past, a variant limited to 500 would sell fast, even with the Otherness releases. They've also done a lot of represses in the last couple of years, so maybe this is 1 variant and 1 price hike too much for people.

Yeah I think the fact that these aren’t selling well is mainly due to the fact, like you mentioned, these albums have all individually been pretty much kept in print the last couple years.  So you gotta figure at this point everyone who wanted these albums already has them

Just a curious question solely for research purposes without hurting any feelings, but I'm really interested in your answer. Where is the threshold you'd say no thank you and quit the variant collecting here or any of your favorites? Where is the top? You spent 569 dollars + shipping and taxes on records you already own (except BBC2). I mean I would never justify a 52-dollar 2xlp form my all-time favorite bands even if don't own a single variant of said record. When is this gonna end really? We are hitting 100-dollar LPs soon? There should be a top, and then a big fall from it when vinyl will be luxury, right?
