867530h9
Paid this guy August 4th...after two weeks of not receiving my vinyl i sent him two messages, the first one very friendly, the second one warning I would file a claim from paypal if I didn't hear back from him in 24 hours with at least information as to where my vinyl was and if it had been shipped. Never heard back so I filed a claim with paypal...he has yet to respond to that yet either. :-/ Anyone ever buy from this person?

867530h9
really? I talked to some friends and they said that for one album, two weeks with 0 replies to e-mails is bad news bears. they also said that his unverified paypal account was bad but i'm pretty new to ebay so i don't know. :/ but thanks! i feel a lot better now. Snaggle Von Swift
the no replies is definitely shitty.. but 2 weeks isn't so bad, give it time.
rtw88
Well it's definitely shady that he's not responding to PMs, but don't you have 45 days to file a paypal complaint? And yeah, I'd say 1-2 weeks is about an average time for getting a record.
thomas
If it was sent media it can take up to 14 business days, which is like 2.5 weeks, and that is only if he sent it the next day or day you bought it. I usually wait 3 weeks before I question the seller, and so far I've never had to go further then that (knock on wood).
kurtz
You definately jumped the gun with the paypal claim. 2 weeks is way too soon to file a claim. Especially when the seller has as much positive feedback as this guy. http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl....tems=25&pag e=
867530h9
yeah, I noticed the positive feedback when buying. i just went on asking a friend who is really ebay savvy about how long it should take to receive a record. I paid on the 4th, sent 2 PMs, and I have still heard absolutely nothing. i feel bad about the claim now, i asked the wrong person for advice, ha. it was still shady having no response from the guy though, i mean all i asked was if the record had been shipped and if so, if it was possible he could send me a tracking number. I don't know if this matters but I also got priority mail as well so the estimated time for that read 2-3 business days.

sonix
In a perfect world, things would be sent out the same day as paid for.. but its far from perfect. A simple apology email would probably set things straight. Unless he was a total ass.
vinyljunkie
give a week to ship, and 2 weeks to arrive is generally what i consider a good average. maybe a little more if they are in good communication. the no communication is a bummer, but if it were me personally, i wouldnt even start to worry until at least 3 weeks. deville
I say rule of thumb is 4 weeks for domestic orders and then email.
bottlecap
i usually contact if i havent heard anything/received it in 2 weeks. but i would never wait 4 weeks, especially if you paid for priority.
