rtw88
He wouldn't even sign his own band. huh? If he were not in bad religion, there is no way in hell Epitaph would be releasing their records right now.
travis
huh? If he were not in bad religion, there is no way in hell Epitaph would be releasing their records right now. I think he would. Bad Religion sells a ton fo albums. EDIT: I bet BR actually sells a lot more albums than most of those crappy pop "punk", emo, and screamo bands that are on Epitaph. von
I think its a good move. and just to put my 2 cents in, Bret has written some of the best songs i have ever heard, with great skill and thoughtful content, as well as taking a small indie label into something that is ow probably doing better then some majors in this day of music consumption. If you can write a song as good as "sorrow" and record an album that sounds like out come the wolves, you got my mark. Its funny you never hear bands like the bouncing souls, HWM/draft, or converge complain about being on epitaph.

sherlock
He'd sign Bad Religion. They haven't had a good record since I was 16. wrong. stranger than fiction and new new maps of hell are both great albums. the others vary from pretty shitty (no substance, new america) to pretty good (gray race, empire strikes first). Duff
i was expecting vagrant. that seems to be the place where bands that are already well established and have a solid fanbase tend to end up; i.e. saves the day, alkaline trio, hot rod circuit, dashboard, thrice. im surprised, but pleasantly that a major didnt gobble them up again, or NFG said no to them.
