xjustinxschwierx Posted October 21, 2008 Share Posted October 21, 2008 So I just wrote this up for the check my vinyl site and since it's written up, I figured I'd post it...and justify the hour of scratching my head and thinking about how many test pressings I made and how many of whatever limited covers there are and whatnot...there's probably a discrepancy or two but I'll fine tune it later, all the pressing numbers should be correct though. UCR004 J Church / Minority Blues Band 7" 500 copies 10 test pressings 470 or so on opaque swirly/messy orange 30 or so on various shades of smoky clear orange, brown, pink I had the plant throw scrap into the vinyl so it wasn't 100% perfectly clean colors and these random colors that must be all scrap. UCR009 Shot Baker / Vacation Bible School 7" 500 copies 4 test pressings (on purple vinyl) 500 on messy clear green vinyl UCR012 x ONE WAY x s/t LP 525 copies on black vinyl 10 test pressings UCR014 Few and the Proud "Stampede" LP 500 copies 20 test pressings(i think) 495 copies on marble blue vinyl 2 copies on pink 1 copy on pink with a blue center 2 copies on dark marble blue vinyl there's a "last show edition" with a photocopied wrap-around cover and something like 20 silk screened record release covers UCR015 O Pioneers "Black Mambas" LP 500 copies 15 test pressings all 500 on grey vinyl this one has several different cover designs: 50 copies with the silk screened Mitch Clem "Damn Those O Pioneers!" covers on black white and silver paper, don't remember how many on each color of paper. orange insert 400(or so) copies with black metal, black on black cover, red insert 1 copy: "Loki the Lion edition" black cover, 2 photos taken by Justin/UCR glued to the cover(from the night I had met the band), hand written names and song titles on back, white insert, same grey vinyl but the a side label was torn off at some point at the plant. sold for $50 on the vinyl collective message board, despite the impromptu "auction" going for $150.01, unique insert on white paper with explanation of the story behind the record. 20 copies with "Fest 7 Press covers" that is the CD artwork silk screened on black paper(I'll be making these this week.) UCR017 J Church / Sound on Sound 7" 500 copies 10 test pressings 500 on hot pink vinyl I had covers made up for these that say J Church / Hirudin, but Hirudin broke up and immediately reformed as Sound on Sound and used the last recordings of Hirudin for their side...so I had new covers made up that read Sound on Sound. UCR019 Four Star Alarm s/t or Tilted/Cities in Dust 7" 650 copies(or so) 10 test pressings(i think) 540 on black 113 on blue with blank white labels & stamped with a 4SA logo this record is one sided. the b side has a laser etched drawing on it. 20 black vinyl copies have a purple "record release show" cover. 550 (all the blue + most of the black vinyl) have a printed cover 20 black vinyl copies will have Fest 7 silk screened covers. UCR020 Shot Baker "Awake" LP 525 copies 5 rejected test pressings(b side error) 20 approved test pressings 500 on yellow with black center/haze all the copies have that fine dust on them which is product of the haze color...which I didn't know happened until after the fact. 20 copies will have silk screened Fest 7 covers. UCR022 New Bruises "Goodbye Middle Class" 7" 1104 total 571 on white 533 on yellow 4 test pressings 100 with 2 color silk screened covers 1-50 are yellow vinyl, hand numbered 51-100 are white vinyl, hand numbered 500 mixed between yellow and white have printed covers 25 photocopied Fest 7 covers hand colored in crayon on white vinyl, hand numbered on b side label in silver ink 1-25, paper sleeve is stamped. UCR023 Methadones "Career Objective" LP first press: 500 copies 25 test pressings 200 on blue vinyl 300 on clear gold vinyl second pressing: 500 copies info coming soon. UCR025 Black Cross “Severance Pays” LP Co-released with Tuned to You Records 470 copies 15 test pressings 85 on pink(-slip) vinyl 385 on (money-)green vinyl UCR027 Capital “Signal Corps” LP 5 rejected test pressings 25 approved test pressings Info coming soon. UCR028 Capital “Homefront” LP 528 copies 25 test pressings 196 on black vinyl 332 on clear gold vinyl (a handful of the gold have black streaks, smoke or dots in the vinyl) UCR029 the Romeros / the Chivalries split 7” Info coming soon. UCR030 Olehole “Holemole” LP 500 copies (all copies came with a CD copy) 24 test pressings 200 on white vinyl 300 on clear red vinyl all pre-orders came with silk screened CD cases, hand addressed to the person that bought it.
