gmoney
Anathallo will be releasing their last album, "Floating World", and their newest album, "Canopy Glow", on vinyl in January. "Floating World" might be delayed because of the vinyl shortage, but "Canopy Glow" is looking on track.

cactusbot
Stoked for both. Saw them Monday, they were excellent.
monk0nuggets
Awesome! I was hoping to do this, but it looks like someone beat me to the punch.
cactusbot
Press one of their old albums then!!!!!! Like Sparrows or Luminous Luminescence. Both are 10000x better than the new stuff.
AlexH.
Seriously, press the old stuff. They're all independent releases, so the licensing would be relatively cheap. Also, Holiday at the Sea. It could be a 1 sided or 45 rpm 12", or a 10" even. I think it's my favorite release of theirs.

monk0nuggets
Can we get a link to the source?
gmoney
The source is me. I could get you in contact with them if you care about the other releases - or I could ask for you. And Holiday at the Sea on a 10" would be amazing stuff.

monk0nuggets
I saw this band open for Dosh and it was really bad Seriously? I would put them in my top ten favorite live shows. They were sick when I saw them.
cactusbot
Gilead hates everything. Don't mind him.

They were sick when I saw them. Yeah I would definitely say they are Top 5 for me. I saw them at a local college before and right after Floating World came out and they were amazing both times. It was a really small Christian college with maybe like 70-100 people. It was so good.
cactusbot
I saw them at some warehouse in 2002 with Copeland and Underoath. They had just released Sparrows in some sweet packaging. It was in like a screen printed digipack in a bag with dirt and seeds. It was awesome.
teganandsara
Saw them open for brand new they were cool even though I have never heard them before.
AlexH.
Anathallo w/ Underoath? What a weird show. I've only seen them at Cornerstone, but they totally blew me away.

What a weird show. I've only seen them at Cornerstone, but they totally blew me away. Yeah Anathallo actually opened up for them for Florida's CD release of "They're Only Chasing Safety". And then later on had a date with Dashboard Confessional (who actually mentioned them in an issue of Rolling Stone).

It was weird, yet really awesome. Octavio, guitarist at the time/the black dude, answered his phone in the middle of a song and they just stopped playing. He then proceeded to talk to his wife for like 5 minutes then they continued the song. It was ridiculous. Anywho! What year did you see them play Cornerstone? AlexH.
it'd be... 06? I'm pretty sure it was the year Floating World came out, so yeah, 2006.
