adamlikesmusic
Really good songs on record. Boring live. I haven't seen them live, but from videos I watched, it looked like they put on a pretty fun show. Guess you never know until you experience it... goraiders
ive seen them a bunch of times and they sound really good everytime, but even in the bay area not that many people are into it.

tommytumult
Really good songs on record. Boring live. Their Fest set was quite possibly my favorite of the weekend.
Just Another Tom
all in is one of the best/underrated releases of 07. Agreed. Really good songs on record. Boring live. Their Fest set was quite possibly my favorite of the weekend. I was at the Fest show and it was awesome, although i'm a sucker for a drunken singalong. Cheers for posting. ludesmaaan
Nothington rule and the new songs are great. Did their BYO cd ever get pressed onto vinyl?
mclz
nah, it was supposed to though.
ludesmaaan
yeah, I didn't think so. That's a shame because this is the type of record that deserves the vinyl treatment.

Well, I think it's pretty easy to have a good set at the Fest. Since thousands of people come from all over the country, odds are the club is packed mostly with a band's biggest fans. The bands can then play off that. I've seen them many times in tiny house shows and bar shows and they're always pretty boring. Don't get me wrong, All In was one of my favorite releases of 2007 and was super excited to get a chance to see them for the first time. However, I can't think of a more disappointing live show I've seen in the last few years. They just kinda stand around and Jay stares off beyond the crowd. Just my opinion. Like I said, really good songs, just can't get into these dudes live.
