The most recent one wasn't too bad until they tried to force canonical tripe into it towards the end. TFP Posted March 31, 2014 Share Posted March 31, 2014 I think with The Blair Witch, it's the type of thing where "you had to be there." It was a first of its type "found footage" film and this was before mass Internet usage and the marketing was great (also a first - type of viral marketing) I remember people thinking at the time (including my best friend) that they watched this disturbing real life tale of missing 20-somethings. I also remember the main actress going on Jay Leno and they were commenting how it affected everyone and that she was indeed ok and survived the woods haha Overall though I enjoyed it at the time, but looking back at it now, I can see some of the bad acting and man!, the swearing! haha.
