kirbs84
Anyone have it? Thinking about switching from Comcast for TV and Internet. Thoughts or comments?
cadetapplesauce
i have it. it's pretty cool. my dad work(ed) for AT&T though so we got a discount. i can't tell you how much we pay for all the premium channels & on demand and stuff. kirbs84
Price wise I can get a pretty good deal. But how good is the HD quality?
roadmonkey
I would switch to it in a heartbeat if it was available for my area

But how good is the HD quality? it's good. don't really know what to compare it to, though, since this was my first home experience with HD. we have an HDTV and it looks legit. rrd
its just another cable/internet service its a little different because both your cable and router work together, you can run cable boxes from ethernet lines coming off your router, its weird but it also allows you to set recording for your dvr from any computer via their website you can get up to 4 receivers for free, record 4 standard definition shows at once or 2 hd shows at once and it just has a much nicer user interface for the cable than comcast does and a new feature they just added recently allows you to watch your recorded shows on any cable box in the house even though its just stored on your main dvr box downstairs or whatever
thomas
I would switch to it in a heartbeat if it was available for my area My parents can't get it at their house, but my friend who lives a block away has it. There area is so odd. I'd switch too if I could get it here, since TWC does not give a shit about it's customers.
akross
I would switch to it in a heartbeat if it was available for my area I have heard nothgin but good things about it from my co-workers that have it. Cheaper than the cable company and more HD channels so I can watch even more Law & Order re-runs in HD!
kellyjanice
i have it and love it. i used to have time warner but when i moved had to switch to insight because time warner was not an option. as soon as uverse was available i switched and could not be happier. the hd is great as well only bummer is havig to pay more for the channels. my bill is only slightly higher than it was with time warner and insight for an equivalent package. the best part is being able to watch my recorded tv programs on all my tvs in the house
