yea i read the directions guys. and i just switched it to incorrect way and it definately didnt work. i have a shitty used technics turntable while i wait for my new one to arrive. i plugged it in to a vintage yamaha receiver i bought and i got like no sound out of the phono input. i was told the preamp in the receiver might just be blown. buy a preamp, plug it into aux. did that still the same problem. plugged preamp into phono boom amplified sound. thats the deal.

the pre-amp is brand new and is clearly amplifying, just in the wrong input. as i said earlier i have a shitty used technics turntable while i wait for my new one to arrive. i plugged it in to a vintage yamaha receiver i bought and i got like no sound out of the phono input. i was told the preamp in the receiver might just be blown. buy a preamp, plug it into aux. did that still the same problem. plugged preamp into phono boom amplified sound. thats the deal.

where would the auto/analog thing be located. everything else including tap edeck works fine.
