mybabyxsmokes
its only amplifying in the PHONO input. i was told since it seemed the pre-amp inside my vintage receiver was most likely blown to get a pre-amp and use it in the AUX input. can my whole house blow up by plugging a pre-amp into the PHONO input? ericxthexred
most old stereos had an amp boost on the PHONO input, so if you use your preamp in the PHONO input you might risk a nuclear explosion that would ruin all of philly. best bet is to use the AUX channel to avoid another Hiroshima or Nagasaki
perk900
as i'm close enough to Philadelphia to fall victim to your nuclear explosion, i suggest to do as he says... plus plugging your phono preamp into the phono input of your receiver is bad, like crossing the streams bad... xxmartinxx
Unless your AUX input or your turntable, it should work. Verify you have the in and outs going in the right direction.

Verify you have the in and outs going in the right direction. on the pre-amp? Yeah. there should be two sets of RCA jacks (four total). One set probably labeled "input", which you plug your player into, and one labeled "output", which you plug into the AUX.
