mutinyzine
About 10 years ago, or maybe more, I got Unsane's album "Scattered, Smothered & Covered" on CD. I played it all the time but then I forgot about it for a while. Today as I was looking through some old CD's I decided to give it a spin and it still is a fucking awesome record! Does anyone know if Unsane has any vinyl releases that are possible to track down? Finding that particular album on vinyl would be awesome. Let me know if you've got any info to share. /Christer
burntwolf
http://www.grunnenrocks.nl/bands/u/unsane.htm looks like that one was on 3 labels if the LP info is correct....

xjustinxschwierx
I have a early 7" and I'm 90% sure every actual record they've done has been released on vinyl, save the Lambhouse best of comp. great fucking band.
apeman
Every full-length was released on vinyl. But as far as I'm aware stuff life "Amrep Christmas" and "Attack in Japan" was cd only. "Lambhouse" too, as already mentioned. For some reason "Scattered..." has been the hardest for me to track down, but I've got all the others. If you also end up looking for "Occupational Hazard", be aware that the Relapse picture disc isn't the only version. Runt Records made a regular black lp, that also included lyrics. xjustinxschwierx
oh also they have a song on the Tromeo and Juliet soundtrack picture disc LP on Thivk Records, but the song isn't exclusive to that release.
northernfailure
You can generally find Occupational Hazard various places. Visqueen was recently pressed on vinyl, finally, that album rules. Blood Run was pressed by Relapse, but it's OOP and I've been trying to get it on eBay for quite some time now. Not sure about the rest, but I haven't seen any others. mutinyzine
Thanks for all the replies guys. I'll look into it!
catharsis
All the Unsane album were realised on vinyl except for Peel Sessions, Amrep Cr., Attack in Japan (the Japan cd version is really rare) and Lambhouse. Scattered.. is really hard to get and it could be expensive, last copy i saw on ebay went for around 50 $. I think it was only realesed by AmpRep, i've never seen a german version and the Italian label Runt only realised the cd version. Usa version of Occupational hazard was realised on black vinyl and picture disc version (limited to 1000) by Relapse; italian version made by runt was only on black vinyl. Blood Run was made by relapse: 500 red, 500 black, 100 blue/white/black swirled, 100 clear Visqueen was made by Black Diamond : 200 red, 800 black ( 200 gr. vinyl). All the other info about 12" on grunnerock.nl are +/- correct.
oakland
I saw these guys a couple years ago. They were so loud and really tight. For some old dudes they still got it.
