monk0nuggets
I still need to get the first record. What I've heard of it is really good.
lokithelion
but... they're not country. Neither is... Joey Cape Ninja Gun Mike Hale Scott Reynolds Ghost Buffalo Geeze, put out one Dwight Yokum/Randy Travis split and you're branded for life! all of these records have country elements to them. Joey Cape Ninja Gun Mike Hale Scott Reynolds Ghost Buffalo Geeze, put out one Dwight Yokum/Randy Travis split and you're branded for life! all of these records have country elements to them. I would agree that Ninja Gun and the first Ghost Buffalo have country elements, but Joey, Mike, and scott don't have even one note of country. There is a big difference between acoustic/solo singer/songwriter and country.
Guest Admin
regardless of people's views on Country, we can all agree that Look Mexico is one of the most amazing bands out there. I love them and am still amazed that we will be working with them.

andyfuckingthomas
Neither is... Joey Cape Ninja Gun Mike Hale Scott Reynolds Ghost Buffalo Geeze, put out one Dwight Yokum/Randy Travis split and you're branded for life! all of these records have country elements to them. Joey Cape and Mike Hale are not country at all. Just because people play acoustic guitars doesn't make it country. Scott Reynolds does have one song that sounds country. Ghost Buffalo's last album sounded like Smashing Pumpkins. Ninja Gun does have a tad of it, but they are from Georgia.
thomas
Was "The Crucial Collection" ever put out on vinyl? I'm excited for the new album.

I know Joey was in Lagwagon so HE COULDN'T POSSIBLY HAVE ANY COUNTRY IN HIM! but give it another spin. It is twinged in country.
