bunit
Is there any record stores I can hit up while im there.
troymess
Dude, there is absolutely NOTHING going on in Erie as far as records. There's this one store I know of, Graham's Records, but it's only old/classic vinyl pre-2000 rock and roll stuff. Fairly pricey as well. Your best bet is beer. There's a lot of good places to drink in Erie. My suggestion would be the Brewerie at Union Station.
stranaspank
Is Graham's the one in Wesleyville? I thought that place was closed all the time.
bunit
Ill have to check out the brewery for sure. It sucks that there is no record stores. I went to grahams once and I was disappointed they just had to much to pick through and not enough good stuff to keep me focused.

ludesmaaan
records can be found 70 miles down the thruway in Buffalo.
nickmhankins
You might as well drive towards Cleveland. Music Saves in Collinwood, Record Den in Mentor, and My Mind's Eye in Lakewood
drabley
You're going to the ALPCA convention, aren't you... Don't worry, I'll be there too. My friend collects. I'm just along for the ride. We're driving to Philly Friday afternoon for the rest of the weekend to visit college friends.

drabley
ALPCA = automobile license place collectors association? Correct. Each year there is a National convention. This year, it's in Erie. It's in a couple of weeks. My friend is Swiss and collects Swiss license plates and Florida "official use" plates. He's going to the convention to search for items to complete his collections. I'm going for the fuck of it. We're driving from Erie to Philly for a boys weekend out with some old college friends after the nerd fest.
