burntwolf
are all the versions of the Opiate vinyl the same? is there some deal w/ a hidden groove or something?
Guest afsdan
pretty sure there's a double groove in there somewhere. I don't own it, but I've heard of this one. two separate grooves are cut into the lacquers, and they interlace.
seafoamgreen
I don't knwo the details of the interlaced groove, but there are at least 2 pressings of this. The first pressing makes no mention of BMG on the back if I remember correctly. The pressing with the Zoo logo and the BMG logo are not at all rare and you shouldn't pay more than $10 for it new. burntwolf
yea, it didn't seem like anything rare, except for this rumored interlaced groove thing. i was just wondering if that is on all of them or some special pressing. if i pick one up, i would like to check out one w/ the groovy groove... celebdeath
i got the first press and it has the hidden song at the start of side 2. kinda random when the needle hits it.
