jhulud
Revolver was a terrible movie. Made no sense at all and by the end I was like "what the fuck just happened?"...
devinr
I think he was trying to come back from making Swept Away because his ex-wife told him to and went off the deep end.
riddle350
I was watching the interview with him explaining the concept(which didn't explain the concept : ) and he was saying it was the movie he was most proud of making. I'm convinced that I'm just too dumb to "get it". I will say that the shoot out scene in the house towards the end was fucking awesome. Guest markovianprocess
Okay, I haven't seen this film in a while but I'll try to explain this. Remember the two guys who he communicated with in the prison? They were Zach and Avi. They set him up from the beginning by giving them those formulas (and therefore dragging him to the casino where they could meet again and he wouldn't know who they were) so they could ultimately pull off the master con. Their meeting in the casino (where he is poisoned) allows them to pretend he was dying to force him to part with his winnings from the casinos and ultimately screw him. Just like they said, the greatest con that was ever pulled was making you believe that he is you. So while Jake believed he was the master con artist with his formulas which would allow him to always win, he was actually the victim of the greatest con. Does that explain it any better? What I didn't get was all the different reasons for the random lapses of crazy that the characters went into. Mr. Green in the elevator, Macha flipping out on the Mrs. Winters, etc.
