roadmonkey
Finally!!!! Vinnie from Less Than Jake has started a new label to marry art with 12" vinyl and one of the releases planned appears to be the last Explosion record YAY!!!! Regarding The Explosion's final record, Vinnie heard the album while on a visit to the band's former label, Virgin Records. Falling in love with the record and sneaking out a copy from the offices, he listened to it profusely until the band broke up. "I have always been a super fan of the band, loving the songs, loving the art that goes along with it," he adds. "I had the chance to release it after it stalled on their old label and I can't think of a better band that not only produced great songs but has the art aesthetic to match Paper and Plastick." - from pastepunk.com

kirbypuckett
What the Explosion should do is get those two guys out of the Loved Ones and get me my Spider back.

swankymodes
I've heard a few songs from this, not their best work, but I'll definitely pick this up. Flash Flash Flash is still a great great great record.

pikemess
Bury Me Standing is a great record. It's nothing like FlashFLashFlash but it's still top notch. I'm glad it's getting a proper release. Also, might it be possible that when it comes out they would play a couple shows in support of it? I sure hope so.
kurtz
Flash Flash Flash was a really good album. Black Tape was terrible though. I will have to hear this before buying.

gabe
Wish he would do a proper press of "Black Tape" as well, all that's out if that white-label version out of 250 that they were selling for like $25 when it came out.
