scottheisel
I spent a few hours with Matt Theissen and Matt Hoopes from Relient K a few years ago, and they were incredibly friendly and gracious (and they performed a mean Weezer cover on a banjo, too). 311thrice
I used to LOVE Christian music...Supertones, Jars of Clay, DC Talk, Caedmans Call...but I grew out of that type of music. I still pull out some old CD's and listen to them though.

Yeah, I met them when I was living in Nashville (99/00) and they were down for a few weeks before the first album came out. Even though my favorite dudes are no longer in the band it's still nice to see Matt every once in a while. Ah, those were the days
katie
All that I have met have been complete douches, as are the band. How are they douches? Just curious. My friend Emily and I saw them about 3 - 4 years ago (they were touring on Mmhmm) and they wouldn't take time to stop and even sign something for her, and she was a huge fan. Maybe they were just having an off day or something, but I thought they could've at least taken 2 minutes and taken a picture or something with her. Was it right before they went on stage? Was it right as they were leaving stage? They've never not hung out outside the venue after a show, but I can imagine not wanting to get hassled for an autograph five minutes before or after a gig. katie
that is beyond weird. thats the first i've ever heard about them doing that. Yeah, we'd always heard they were nice dudes (maybe they are, I don't know. Like I said, they could've been having an off day), so it took she & I off guard. But as far as their music goes, it's decent enough.
