translatingthename
So is that Death Cab a 10"? How can a 10" mix be on a 7" unless a 10" exists? what if each side is a different speed?
mav
It's just the 7inch. I'm a little baffled on the whole 10'' mix myself. I'll listen to it tomorrow and see what's what.
fueledbymike
yea its for sale on 33rd revolution too and could it be a 7 MINUTE and 10 MINUTE mix maybe?
voodooramen
So I saw the DCFC 7" on ebay, and the B side was apparently called 10" mix. That makes no sense, why would they even call it that if it's on a 7"? Is one side just the instrumental beginning or something? I'm going to be bummed if there isn't actually a 10" release of it.I can't find it on ebay now, I am guessing it was removed for some reason, I would have posted a link otherwise. i just bought one that was in the buy it now section, idk if that was the same one you saw or not Yeah, it likely was. Regardless i'm heading over to the nearby store on record day to see what they have...I might still pick it up if it's cheap enough. Mav, if you could give us a heads up on what each side is, that would be cool.

Matador slipmats are kind of lame, just white with the logo in black
mav
Alright, so after numerous listens I finally just looked at the record and realized that the 7inch mix is slightly shorter than the 10inch and both of them are significantly shorter than the video and myspace versions. They sound the same to me.

I might just skip on getting this then, I would rather put the $5 towards the album.
