idlehero Posted September 14, 2009 Share Posted September 14, 2009 Its good for sure...but the horns get to be a bit much. I mean it's a great idea, but on EVERY song?? come on now. Still stoked to see them soon thats the whole point of the album.. That may be true but to me with horns on 11 or 12 tracks, it began to seem a bit forced and maybe even a little cheesy at times. I liked the idea alot, and if the horns had been on maybe 7 of 12 tracks, I don't think I would have any issues at all. I'm glad they added horns so it doesn't seem like they are putting out the same album over and over, just as I really dug the addition of the keys in the last album. These guys are keeping it fresh and I respect that alot, just peronsally I would have preferred it if horns hadn't been on 11 of the 12 tracks. Just my thoughts...
