lokithelion Posted December 10, 2009 Share Posted December 10, 2009 Side note; Neutral Milk Hotel made one of the best albums ever but it's hard for me to put them on a list like this. Had they made another album and kept the quality up I may have considered them. Yeah, that's the main reason I didn't put them on. I feel like In the Aeroplane... was kind of an anomaly in the band's catalogue. I like their other stuff, but it doesn't compare. It doesn't compare but they're probably the best example of build up to greatness in the world. From the demos to the 7"s to the ep to Avery to Aeroplane they did nothing but get better and better. Their unreleased stuff that there are only live bootlegs of is better than most records I own. Plus my other four have hits for days so I've got to have one "thinker" band.
