Japes
I know this has been around for a while, but I haven't seen much about it since early '09, and the vague Sabot update a few days ago. Anybody know any recent developments concerning these?
mcm1610
I wish.
Japes
Yeah same. The Sabot update was a little uplifting though. Glad to see RR&SB is coming out, and that they acknowledged that the other albums were supposed to follow. Maybe, just maybe. Also, I'm going to see Lucero in Lexington and I'm gonna try to meet them and talk to Ben about the vinyl stuff. Anyone that's met them, how'd it go? mcm1610
He seems pretty humble from what I've seen of him. I've never seen the full band though, I would love that.
mcm1610
I was curious about the Sabot update, so for anyone else that is: 1/18/10 - We've just repressed Fake Problems' "How Far Our Bodies Go" vinyl. This album now comes with a free mp3 download coupon and is currently available on limited Pink vinyl. The Lucero "Rebels, Rogues & Sworn Brothers" vinyl is still in the works, with the rest of the albums to follow. Expect an EP from Ninja Gun and the vinyl version of Moneybrother's newest album later this year.
Japes
That'd be the one. Also, since I've finally got a thread about this goin', can anyone tell me what the OG presses of these albums go for, and which ones have been pressed? I don't really know much about them. I figured Lucero vinyl was hard to come by so I never really looked for it.
casey
I can't believe they're doing Rebels...next. I know they did Nobody's Darling's first because they already had the plates for it. But I would have thought they'd start with S/T and worked chronologically from there, since the first three LPs are what everyone really wants. I have no problem with it as long as they actually press the damn albums.
mcm1610
I want Tennessee more than anything. I have the s/t and barely listen to it. That Much Further West would be next on my wishlist.
Japes
S/T is probably my favorite, by far. Sell me that shit.
Guest afsdan
self titled was never released on vinyl. neither was the 8 Paces to Jackson soundtrack. a few folks have offered me over $100 for the 8 Paces CD.
Japes
Ahh. Gotcha. I can't wait for the S/T vinyl release then.
goraiders
i love all lucero!
Japes
Same, they've stayed very consistent. I dunno why people don't dig all of it.
Guest afsdan
cuz it hasn't been consistent. 8 paces, s/t, attic tapes, 7" are the only good records. it goes downhill fast from there.
Japes
I don't know man. It's all good to me.

Guest
Rebels is my favorite album by them. Fuck the haters. Stoked to get my hands on this.
Japes
I'm stoked to get any of their vinyl. They've never made a bad album in my mind. Rebels was an epic album, his voice was really shining in that one.
fixedfrequencies
it'd be nice if Tennessee and Rebels were put out as double LPs, since both albums almost 50 minutes.
Japes
I imagine they will be if they're that long and 180g. Never know, though.
mcm1610
S/T is probably my favorite, by far.Sell me that shit. Oh, just kidding, I'm an idiot. I have Attic Tapes, not the s/t.
Japes
Yeah I figured, haha. After he told me s/t was never pressed. Attic Tapes are damn good though, imo.
enjoyadrian
I never listened to this band but heard good things all around. What is a good album to start on?
Japes
S/T. They become more rock oriented on Nobody's Darlings though, if you're into that.
