adamlikesmusic
I bought that Fightstar one, pretty much just to see what it was all about. Ignoring that Fightstar sucks, the "vinyl" side isn't the best quality. Could be them trying to squeeze a song into such a small amount of vinyl, could be that it's quite thin, or a number of other things, but it just didn't sound good. It's just a gimmick as far as I'm concerned.
Fartcat
I wish there were better ones, I wanna pick one up.
themullet89
I've always been interested in these, just to check 'em out, but never got around to picking one up. Will probably wait 'til there's one I actually want.
xjustinz
I have the Mars Volta one except the vinyl side won't play because the foam in the middle won't grip the disc so just the foam spins and not the disc. Oh well, still cool to have.
melikecheese
Squoodge has a club dedicated to this, mentioned in the 5 other posts about these things. http://www.squoodge.de/get_dvt_list.php
Guest markovianprocess
These things are not worth tracking down. I've got the Fightstar one as well, and it's a bit pointless really. It's more of a 'ooh look what we can do' than a legitimate new format.
travis
Ive got the Mars Volta one. HT gave them away as a gift with purchase of one of the MV albums a few years back. Never actually tried to play it tho. Seems more like a novelty collector piece than an actual piece of music.
etphonehome
I too got the mars Volta one but I never opened it as I didn't even think it would play on record player
adamlikesmusic
They definitely play on a record player. What would be the point if they didn't?

The record still plays, your piece of foam just sucks. I'm not sure why you felt the need to quote me. I was commenting on the post above mine, who said they didn't even think they play. They do play, and that is what they are made to do.

adamlikesmusic
Why would I be bitter? Mine plays just fine If anyone's bitter, it's you.
