I was actually surprised at the turnout though; I almost expected there to be no one there. I guess I underestimated people who like good music. I'm sure a lot of people were just there to hang out too, though, since it was a free show. I talked to the drummer for a bit before the show, and he told me that Matt Bayles whipped them into shape in the studio and made them even better/tighter as a band, and that the new record would be out in May. He also said the vinyl would probably be pressed as a 2xLP, which is awesome. He was a suuuuuper nice dude. Afterward, when I went to buy a hoodie, he was like, "hey dude, did you like the new stuff?!" and I said, "FUCK yeah I did, I'm so stoked for the new record!" and he goes, "awesome dude, I'm glad!"
