Punknews Favorite Records in June (Look Mexico #5)

I might be wrong, but it seems as though Punknews hadn't posted their "Your Favorite Records in" feature in a little while, but I am glad to see it back. While there are some obvious selections on this month's installment, I was really happy to see Look Mexico's "To Bed to Battle" at #5. What records do you think were missing? What do you think should have charted higher? Where would you have put the new Off With Their Heads?

have you heard their gasp asp 7"; those songs are amazing, too. And their split with Fake Problems. I do like lots of their earlier stuff, but I agree that this latest album is their best to date.

Agreed... killer album. I enjoy all of their stuff depending on what mood I'm in. Especially 'Gasp Asp'. I will say that I prefer the acoustic version of 'The Only Take the Backroads' over the regular one though. Would have been a nice change of pace right there.

I think it's interesting that against me is #2. Especially after that ridiculous drama that happened a few weeks back.

i dunno when captain we're sinkng was released but that should be up there. nightlights ep is pretty good. im' also surprised against me is so high. i liked that album though.

I didn't care for Look Mexico until I checked out their new album. I went back and grabbed Gasp Asp and I'm thankful I did. I'm really starting to dig this band.

The vinyl may have just come out in May or June, but the EP itself has been around for some time now.
