Guest Admin
Today, i am happy to bring you our Vinyl Collector of the Day, Seth Goldberg. Seth calls Durham, North Carolina home and was actually given our interview by Scotty of Loose Charm as the two are friends. As you will read, Seth took the time to answer questions about why he collects vinyl, his first vinyl purchase, records he would kill to own, his thoughts on colored vinyl, his most prized records, recent purchases and more. With over 5,000 records, I love his response to how he has had to give away furniture to make room for his records. Thanks Seth for taking the time to answer our questions. You, too, can answer our questions and submit your Vinyl Collector of the Day feature. What are you waiting for? You can find the questions here http://www.vinylcollective.com/2010/08/16/submit-your-vinyl-collector-of-the-day-feature-1-question-changed/ Click the link to read more about Seth http://www.vinylcollective.com/2010/08/30/vinyl-collector-of-the-day-seth-goldberg/
One Hundred Fifty-Two
Some of that went right over my head.
swoopdog
I don't think most of us are awesome enough to understand most of that. He is like a lvl 67 Vinyl collector and most of us just made a character a couple days ago. That is an amazing collection I would love to dig through! Guest
I like this dude. He's obviously a bit older than most of us, but he isn't being one of those guys who are like "Kids these days just don't understand. You know back in my day we had to walk uphill, both ways, 15 miles, in the snow just to get to a record store, blah, blah, blah. I'm an old fart and can't keep up and because things are different, I hate them." I hate that shit. I'm down with reminiscing and sharing stories about how "things used to be" but being high and mighty about is bullshit. This guy just seems like he is down for music and that's awesome.
