Kid Rock on Roadrunner records???

Recommended Posts

Yeah, I thought Roadrunner has always been a shitty label. What have they released that is worthwhile?

Of course personal taste differ, but in the 90's they had Biohazard, Sepultura, Soulfly, Glassjaw, Obituary, Vision of Disorder, the Dresden Dolls, Madball etc.

granted I know after warner bought em they started doing some more mainstream stuff, but that was in the last 10 years or so. I haven't really kept up with em since the 90s

they've put out some good stuff back in the day but it was always scattered between garbage releases. They released albums by Glassjaw, Vision of Disorder, King Diamond, Merciful Fate, Madball, Biohazard and Killswitch Engage just to name a few.

Now they have fucking Meatloaf and Kiss on their roster. Game over.

This is a label that used to be known as Roadracer Records, and is responsible for putting out classic records by Death, Sepultura, Whiplash, King Diamond, and a fuckload more.

For all the shit they do now, this is the label that brought us Beneath the Remains. Once upon a time, it was a label responsible for exporting American thrash, and most of the shit they had signed in the 80s and 90s was at least respectable, if not downright awesome.
