xjustinxschwierx Posted December 9, 2010 Share Posted December 9, 2010 Hey Everyone, I got a few boxes from Flood today who graciously drove my distro boxes to and from the Fest this year and he shipped the boxes back to me from Connecticut this past week so I am going to throw these up into my distro tonight or tomorrow. The two Fest covers I made for this year were: 1. a silk screened 12x12 flat cover for the Methadones / Copyrights split LP, limited to 49 46 copies that I have 15 20 (I found more mixed in the second box) copies left of them, these are paired with a copy of the pink colored LP. Why 49 46? because that's how many sheets of paper I had. Here's some pictures of them, there were 3 different colors of paper, (I didn't count how many were on each color of paper): 2. a color printed Hellmouth / Explode and Make Up 7" cover that is a parody of the iconic Hot Water Music "Alachua" 7" cover. I need to explain it because it wasn't as obvious as I thought it was... D for Detroit and the Waves are the Chicago Flag...? .....I thought it was marginally clever. This one was limited to 30 copies and I have 5 10 (I found more mixed in the second box) of them left, they come with the Hellmouth color: smokey green, because they played the Fest this year. I think that CO LP test was the last one I had, but I'll look around, they got a little scattered a few years back when I moved and when I had to evacuate my old label office with a few hours notice...so I find random records that have been misplaced for a few years every now and again. I think they randomly inspect the media mail boxes...I've never had one checked in 7 years of running this label or the few years before that when Government Music was around. Shit Happens, it's a victimless crime...I just told them "an intern packed the order and must not have known better" i wish I had interns. shit.
