tylerrr
So I've always wanted to start a project to restore a classic BMW... Something like this. Unfortunately I lack the funds to do it... Someday however I'll attempt to do this when I'm a little more stable. I'm just curious if anyone else has ever wanted to do this as well and with what type of car? icecream
back in high school me & my friend got the genius idea of turning my 87' skylark into a lowrider. we got as far as ripping out the entire interior and putting velour in it's place. also thought it would look awesome if we painted all the plastic with that rock spray paint. as you can imagine it looked stellar, i wish you better luck. konk
I've had two 80's model Volvo 240 station wagons. I still have the second, but have not restored it yet. Looks like this:

worlddownfall
ive been looking for a 1985 ford taurus to turn into a OCP cop car from Robocop, no luck so far its kind of funny that the ford taurus interceptor is replacing the crown victoria, cops will be one step closer to robocop
tylerrr
Haha would be so sweet... There's a crown vic that has the police car paint job around where I live that delivers pizza. It still makes me do a double take every time I see it.
circlingvultures
My friend Christian spent 4 years building his. He also made an insanely detailed blog about it. Check it out. http://newman.onyxsyndicate.com/e30gtr/e30gtr_00.html
tylerrr
^ Very cool! The colors he chose remind me of The Golden Fox from F-Zero... See below...
circlingvultures
I really understand very little about what he did but I love reading the blog. I haven't gotten through it yet but every few weeks I read more of it. Kid has made some crazy cars before. This one the colors are really nice with the sun hitting them. I haven't seen it out in a few months. He mostly drives his new Lotus around.
circlingvultures
There are some modifications I would like to do to my car, nothing too crazy and I would like to upgrade it in a few years to a Hemi. Still there isn't much money to put into extras these days. Maybe later this summer or next spring.
