One of our nosey co-workers proceeds to walk over, grab it off the desk, take a look, and then drop it on the ground. The result....a massive 3 inch corner ding. How angry would you be? But if the corner is really bad, try to get them to replace it.... Many people (including myself) have records shipped to their work address.
