WTB: Taking Back Sunday - Tell All Your Friends

Hey everyone. I have another WTB thread up, but I'm probably not buying anything else from it right now except one thing. I really really want Taking Back Sunday's Tell All Your Friends. But see, I already have the purple and pink forth pressings, and I'm selling the purple one to my cousin. What I want is either the first or the second pressing. If you have a third pressing, I might consider buying it, but not for a lot of money. If you'd like to bundle them, that's cool. Whatever. Haha. The reason I want one of the first two pressings is because I want the alternate cover, the one with just the band name and album title in yellow writing on a green background with a white, I think, border. If you have a test pressing you'd wanna sell, I'd buy it too. For any pressing. But not for $150 >.>. anyways. Here's a list of the variants. If you have one of them, please let me know! Also, if you have any test pressings of other records on my list (in my sig), hit me up too.

Most wanted will have an (x) by them.

First Pressing - Clear (x), baby blue (x), clear gold, grey

Second Pressing - green (x), orange

Third Pressing - Mint green, blue, yellow

If I have any info wrong... I'm going by Wikipedia. Haha.

Eh. I've liked everything they've done with Adam as the frontman. And yeah, their new self titled is with the lineup from Tell All Your Friends. I dig it. But, as I said, all five albums with Adam are great, in my opinion. Still looking for the vinyl, too.

i don't think they've released anything without adam as the front man..

Sorry i don't know alot about vinyl as i am just getting back in it, but i have four of these but i don't know what pressing bought them years ago. I forgot to look at the vinyl colors before i left but i know they are all different. But the odd thing and i am hoping you can help me out, is the numbering. I just looked at the back of one last night and the numbering was 2036 out of 2000. What is up with that? Anyone know

By the way they released an ep with adam playing bass and a different singer.

i believe that means that the label ordered 2,000 copies and the plant ended up pressing more than 2,000. i've heard there's a variance of up to 10% between what is ordered and what is actually pressed.

Yeah, they had the Taking Back Sunday EP that came out in either 2000 or 1999. I don't remember which. I had it on my computer. John Nolan was singing. I think it was before Adam even joined, but I could be wrong. They also had a two song demon which had the song Lullabye on it. I had that too.

Larry47591, do any of the ones you have have this cover? If so, it's a first or second pressing. If they have the cover with the road scene on it, it's a third or fourth pressing. I don't know a whole lot about the actual pressing of records either. Haha.
