kirbypuckett
Like Scott and I said, Yuck sucks live. Record is phenomenal though.
Guest
so im the only one who had a good experience with them live? and for all the male bonding and wavves talk, cloud nothings basically filled the void that their releases left this year. life sux was weak (except tv luv song.. luv that song), and endless now was good, but didnt compare to nothing hurts...imo. kirbypuckett
Oh man, I forgot to mention Cloud Nothings. Wow, love that band, so many catchy songs!
jurrobear
Haven't heard the new Male Bonding, but their last one (Nothing Hurts) is really solid and noisy- what Wavves should have sounded like. New album is pretty great, I'm hoping to see them this Saturday in LA.
kidamnesiac
Another good album that came out recently in this vein is Cymbals Eat Guitars - Lenses Alien.
ashurland
i'll be seeing both pobpah and yuck sometime soon. i hope yuck would stop being boring live by then.
steventangent
pobpah is a much better name for a band if they'd just change their name to that i'd listen to them. or how about even... Aborted Kittens. I'd listen to a band called Aborted Kittens.
