Who here lost something in the last minutes that they desperately wanted (key word is "want" hence why it's under this section)? I just got out bid on copies of Paint it Black's Paradise and CVA. It was $20 into the last minute and I bid up to $48 and still lost. Almost as infuriating as the copy of "Cuban Ballerina" that jumped $20+ in the last minute. But the problem isn't usually that I get picked off at the last minute it's that it just skyrockets in the last few minutes. I just am not willing to pay that much for some stuff. True, with higher priced stuff I usually stand back and wait before I put in my max bid.
