joydivisi0n
I sent an email a couple days ago about a damaged shipment I received but haven't heard back yet. Is there a better way to get through to you guys than the online form on the shop?
krisdfa
Hey, PM me here and I'll make sure it's sent to the top of the queue. We've been playing catchup due to our holiday break.

That reminds me, Kris how did you guys label those Losing My Edge remasters? The picture that is on Discogs is of 12/124 yet I got 13/100. Just curious how that all went down and if between 12 &13 is when you realized you had 124 copies instead of 100? I figure copies 1-12 are labeled /124 and the rest are just numbered /100? Plus maybe last (12?) unmarked ones that you're selling currently?
krisdfa
Good point re: the lack of numbers. We'll figure out a way to mark them. Maybe with a small 'r' or something. 100 of them are marked out of /100. We saved 24 that we intended to give to our friends, those are marked /124 because we're silly. One or two of them hit the free market by accident, I think.

It appears one of your friends was responsible for entering the new release information into the database because thats the photo that was used. supafly
Hey Kris can we get a heads up on the Disco infiltrator over here?
krisdfa
hey! I guess we only have like 8 Disco Infiltrator test pressings. SO. if you guys want one, drop me a PM. The remainder will go on the site.
krisdfa
Also - I'm going to mark the unnumbered extra L. M. E. with 'repress' on the back just so people won't write 1/100 on the front and go wild with that. I'll sort out the Disco Infiltrator TPs when back at the office tomorrow! timsimmons
Kris, will you be selling TPs or White Labels of any Holy Ghost! or YACHT releases?
dasubman1138
Kris, will you be selling TPs or White Labels of any Holy Ghost! or YACHT releases? I second this. I need more YACHT and HG! vinyl. Kris, Yesterday I got around to spinning some of the vinyl I bought, and my #ed (80/100) Losing My Edge is warped pretty badly and skips. Anyway to get a replacement? timsimmons
Yeah, a year later and I still jam that HG! release like its my business. I've been playing the hell out of the Wait and See EP lately and was looking to pick it up. That CFCF remix is something else.
timbrh2001
The HG! White Label of "Its Not Over" is up for sale in their store currently.
timbrh2001
But yeah, any white labels of the HG! singles would be more than welcome! I picked up that Wait and See 12" the last time they came to Chicago, its great.

timbrh2001
I believe some promo copies of 45:33 remixes will be going up sometime this week. Also preorders for The RSD version of the Losing My Edge remaster as well as a Shit Robot - The Green Machine hand screened jacket 12" is up as well. krisdfa
screened? hrmph! We're probably going to spray paint them actually. sorta makes sense with the whole boombox motif, I think? By the way, the new tracks totally rule. I'll link to a sample tomorrow or so.

krisdfa
Hee hee. Also - Sorry for not invoicing you guys on the Disco Infiltrator stuff and the delay in getting some orders out - I've been a bit under the weather and also dragging myself out at night to see once-in-a-lifetime shows like Kraftwerk and Pulp so it's made the recovery a bit rough. I'll get everything sorted out and in the mail tomorrow.
timbrh2001
Hey Kris, does DFA have any plans for something at North Coast Music Fest in Chicago this summer? Reason I ask is I noticed Yacht and The Rapture are both included in the initial lineup listing.
timsimmons
Oh man, how was Pulp? I wish they would come to Chicago.
krisdfa
DFA formally doesn't, but maybe I'll head out there depending on if YACHT/Rapture need a merch person/roadie/some other way to get in free.
