Ordering Used Records from Hastings

Does anyone have any experience with ordering used records from Hastings? I've heard from various sources that they sometimes receive CDs instead of vinyl. I called Hastings, and they said that the mistake comes from the individual stores that accidentally scan CDs as LPs, which ends up going on the website.

Anyway, I'm just curious to hear anyone's experiences with ordering used LPs from Hastings?

In my experience, almost always you'll receive a CD when you order a used LP if it's priced in the $5 or less range.

I have even ordered a new record from Hastings and received a CD (this only happened once, and every other order I've made through them has been fulfilled correctly). I have never ordered a used record from them, though.

I ordered 5 LPs off them a couple weeks ago, 2 of them used. The used ones came together in a huge box. astral weeks by van morrison came as a cd, and get along by tegan and sara came with all four corners creased, vinyl was ok. The three new records i ordered came as planned, but in a flat cardboard box taped shut. I'd say you're better off getting whatever you're looking for somewhere else.
