6heart6breaker6
My brother and I are trying to go on a mini trip for three days, considering the odds of us being able to do this again is very rare with 'big boy' jobs and stuff. Anyhow, we're trying to keep it in the midwest (obviously can't go much farther, not having lots of time) and am looking for any suggestions and why? ie. Shows coming up, awesome veg restaurants, breweries, etc. Anything from this thursday (11/29) to early sunday (12/1). I've been researching a few places for a few hours now, but figured some folks on the ol' board may have some hidden gems out there somewhere. Thanks muches! One Hundred Fifty-Two
Milwaukee is always a blast, especially if you like beer and cheese.
turnstiles
I like Omaha, 3 awesome record stores, 1 vegan restaurant, cheap hotels, cool bars, 3 music venues if there are shows going on. It's really a fun time, I've gone on mini road trips there 4 or 5 times.
6heart6breaker6
Syria is too far into Virginia. Looking for something a little closer... I think I'm the only one in Chicago that hasn't been to Kumas yet. I could probably list you the menu from hearing about it so much. Yeah my brother wants to hot Milwaukee. Great DIY scene and good people there too so that's my fail safe, his #1 right now. I like the Omaha deal. Will look into that for sure. Appreciate the input, keep them gears turnin'!
