almightyseancore
Sean, We go from HC to Kids Stuff on a song by song basis. He listens to classical with my wife. I'm trying to vary it up. He's into putting the records on himself which turns into the occasional fight since my harder to find stuff shouldn't be touched by such tiny hands (That Mob 7" for instance is a great example). He likes Madness and the Pogues too. Stuff with lots of instruments are always a good idea. I think that's why I find his new YOT phase so odd. my kids know better than to touch my records, it's one of the few things in this house they instinctually respect. I've taught them how to flip the auto-return switch when the records over, tho.
hipsterasfolk
Thanks for the kind words - I, like all the parents here, have that paternal pride that always makes you blush from a compliment. Dashiel loves old school NY style hard core. His newest fav is The Mob's "Step Forward" - everytime it hits the "Busted!!!" breakdown I grab him in the air for tickles then he dances hard. Start teaching him dat NYC Thug Core
jerseydave77
^^^ When he wears his puffy jacket he does a killer rendition of "Keepin' It Real"
jhook
Is he going to start to peg his jeans and wear Judge shirts over hooded sweatshirts while wearing white high tops? Don't let him become a full blown 88 youth crew kid.
