fantastic review, my only complaint with it is saying that the $130ppd price tag on this set is "steep."

i think considering what you get with the set and the quality of everything $130 is a complete steal. there are many other sets that have the same or less LPs in the box and theyre of a much lesser quality for just as much or more cost wise.

i think the $130ppd price tag is more than generous.

Thanks for the feedback.  Definitely fair and I actually modified the review based on it..  It was unfair to say that it was "steep" based on what you are getting for the money.

I'm just curious as to why I got a retail version. I could have sworn I ordered mine before the cut-off date. I wasn't expecting a tie-dye but shouldn't it have been the flourescent clearview version?

I too got the retail version and preordered on the first day.  I'm guessing they just ran out of fluorescent ones.

I had issues with my copy of Total and should hopefully be getting my replacement soon too!  Just curious, did anyone else have similar problems with Live In '06?  That's the only other one that sounded warbly to me, even though Warning Device looked to be off-center on the B-side too.

My Live In '06 was perfect. I had the same problem as other people with Total. I noticed on Warning Device as well that the b-side was off center. The needle moves left to right quite a bit but it sounds fine.

Got mine today. No tie-dye but still really great looking. #143/1000. Really happy to finally have it in hand. Thanks for all your hard work Todd.

My Live In '06 was off centre on the B side.  It sounded good until the last couple of songs where there was distortion on playback.  

 

Just want to add that Todd and Debe are champs for the way they are handling the issues with this release.
