His contact info is at http://www.grandtheftautumn.com The S/T 12" was limited to 1000, I think, and s a bit harder to track down although I think someone was actually trying to sell one on here last week. gravitylovesdrunks Posted April 8, 2008 Share Posted April 8, 2008 how much braid have you listened to? it's almost the same band (3/4 of braid is hey mercedes). hey mercedes is too over-produced, vagrant style. generally when bands sign to vagrant, they lose the raw sound that made them so likeable (alkaline trio, get up kids, hot rod circuit, and for all intents and purposes, braid/hey mercedes). everynight fireworks is still awesome though. I like the songs, but I don't like them as much as Hey Mercedes. To their credit (Braid), Frame And Canvas and Everynight Fireworks were both recorded/produced by the same dude: J. Robbins. However, his ability as a producer and engineer increased substantially from the time Frame... was done, up to Everynight Fireworks. It definitely sounds wayyyy better.
