Cjddrum1
Anyone prefer one over the other? I've been using spotify but I love the look of Rdio so I'm considering switching. I've read some reports that say the sound quality on spotify is better. What has been your experience? Have you noticed a difference in music selection? steviex2shoes
Rdio if you're already paying for spotify. If you're only using free spotify then stick with it but pay rdio trumps pay spotify
One Hundred Fifty-Two
I use free spotify and besides the commercials I couldn't ask for anything more.

Stickman31
that mother's day commercial is pissing me off. that girls voice. I use free spotify and besides the commercials I couldn't ask for anything more. Someone made a desktop app that will automatically mute spotify when commercials come on... It's pretty nifty
Guest
the commercials pause for me when I turn my volume off. does it override that?
hipsterasfolk
I use free spotify, considering I'll just stream "like" radio stations while doing homework or something.
Stickman31
the commercials pause for me when I turn my volume off. does it override that? Probably, I don't use it because when I have spotify on I'm in and out of the office all day so I never catch ads. But if you're interested and want to try it out (it's 100% safe): http://tribe.nu/Blockify.html
aviolentworld
i can't get spotify to work on my current phone. i plan on getting one in a few weeks since i'm due for one so i am going to try it. probably a stupid question but is spotify better than pandora? i can do pandora and i enjoy it. it comes in handy when doing work around the house. I think pandora has a 40 hour a month mobile listening cap if you aren't premium. Also spotify is way more cleaned up and social (in my opinion). I'd say just get spotify
bigbruise
Have never used either. Haven't even listened to the radio for something like 10 years.
mrewest
I've had Spotify for a few months and love it (the paid service). I can essentially listen to any full album I choose and put everything in 1 big ass playlist. And new albums are always on there the day they come out. Even EPs and singles typically. Not sure if Rdio is the same or similar.
steviex2shoes
Rdio is the same, just a better user interface.
