Hey Virgil, what about 2 colors and a 180 gram black pressing?

I think this is probably the way to go. Two nerd versions and an audiophile version.

180 gram black, ( /1000)

One-time pressing of 1500, 500 of each:

"root bear float" (to make us "crazy color" geeks happy)

one solid or transparent color (to make the plain jane geeks happy)

180 gram black (to make the audiophiles happy)

With equal pressings of each, no one feels slighted by buying their preference. And then if you're like me, you buy them all!

i like that, but have the 180gram 1000 copies and the rest 250 each.

make the 180 gram black the rarest. That way all the silly color babies get what they want and the people who really care about sound quality and will listen to their records get to have the rarest version.

Im just joking. I would like to see a 180 gram black version of ever record printed and I don't care how many they make, that's the one I'd buy.

yeha, that would be good. Something along those lines. I still like the idea of that but with a drop of something, just to have one record that just all colorfull and what not. lol =P

i would do sold blue w/orange splatters disc one/disc two solid orange w/blue splatters.set one.

solid blue with orange swirl.disc two solid orange w/blue swirl.set 2

and solid blue/orange half and half disc one/ disc two translucent orange/translucent blue set 3

Yeah, a transparent teal with opaque orange splatter or swirl would look pretty killer indeed.
