My dad had a heart attack a month ago. He had to miss a few weeks of work because of this. He's self employed, so no work means no money. I have been kicking in a little extra cash whenever I can to help my parents out. They helped me out enough times when I was down on my luck. I have about 4 or 5 pieces sitting back for me that I still need to purchase. Overstocking yourself is expensive. When I first started I would drop almost half my check on records. Basically I am balling out of control right now and buy whatever I want.When I move out the pain will hurt. that's me too. so easy to spend money sometimes. mrc Posted April 17, 2008 Share Posted April 17, 2008 not getting drunk and browsing ebay helps. being busy at work helps me from searching distros and buying shit. also bills and feeling guilty/shitty that i am spending money i should be saving for our vacation or other important items that are needed around the house. however if i dont eat out for lunch at work, or i skip a show or i dont go out for beers... i consider the money i saved open for blowing on vinyl which is a bad habit of mine.
