rynflnnry
You have to buy two records to get a colored copy??? I've heard of having to buy a deluxe merchnow bundle to get a specific color of a record but this is something else... moonbeams

More interested in So Pretty, So Plastic anyways. I haven't listened to anything on the new album, but the cover art looks like something from Runescape
Devoured
Hell yeah. Matt is an awesome dude so I'm going to support this for sure. The cover is kind of strange though. Looks like something Manowar would do.
rtw88
So they are actually charging money for a record that doesn't exist yet and won't even go into production for 60 days, and that is only if they raise enough money to actually press everything? So because they are being 'DIY' you will have no protection from Paypal, Kickstarter, etc. This is going to turn out poorly.

So because they are being 'DIY' you will have no protection from Paypal, Kickstarter, etc. This is going to turn out poorly. The album is finished already, they just need to press it. It won't cost the band anything to not press them if enough orders don't get placed. I've dealt with his label (Tribunal Records) many times in the past and have 100% faith that they would stick to their word. eskimosnow27
FailureByDesign
Also looks like there were 300 signed copies of So Pretty, So Plastic available. Down to 255 now. I really hope they all get preordered so it gets pressed
6heart6breaker6
Would have hopped on this 7 years ago, but I've dropped out of it. All hail multiple movie clips per song!

Haha pretty much. Apparently there are no samples on this new album though
mindovermatter
There are samples...just less of them. They've been posting new songs over the last couple of weeks.

I wasn't sure if they'd lessened them or gotten rid of them altogether. I just noticed a lot of people complaining about the band's new sound

I just noticed a lot of people complaining about the band's new sound Yeah I didn't think anyone listened to this band for anything other than the "Sample/Blastbeat/Sample/Sample/Blastbeat/Sample" novelty ridiculousness. Trying to be a real band isn't going to really work. Just make a new band.

FailureByDesign
Only 29 of the signed 2 LP bundles left and 87 of the signed Suffer My Wrath LPs. Still 250 of the signed So Pretty So Plastic LPs left though, I really hope enough get ordered so that it gets pressed
FailureByDesign
Realize I'm kind of beating a dead horse here, but... In case anyone still cares or for anyone who hasn't seen this thread yet, the band put an update about the So Pretty, So Plastic LP on their facebook today. It said that the 300 preorders haven't been reached yet, but it still might get pressed if the band finds more storage space. They'll also be pressed on clear with red splatter now instead of while Can still preorder signed copies of it here: http://suffermywrath.bigcartel.com/product/so-pretty-so-plastic-limited-edition-lp

Even if they do press it, I think Matt said it'll be 2 or 3 months before they start shipping
Sandmankev
Looks like this is a go! Now the wait for my vinyl begins in earnest (8-10 weeks). http://www.tribunalrecords.net/killwhitneydead/ This seems to be for the new album, I don't see anything there about the So Pretty, So Plastic repress. Awesome! I've been keeping up with the band's facebook posts and it still sounds like So Pretty So Plastic is getting pressed if they find some additional storage room somehow. It seems like they're leaning towards pressing it, but we'll see
FailureByDesign
Got an email from Matt saying everything that was put on the website plus this: "Those of you who pre-ordered the So Pretty So Plastic LP we are still seeking a location for storage before going to press. We DID NOT meet the magic number, but as previous noted on Facebook the issue is space in my home for all the vinyl that did not sell during pre-order and I am still working on storing it somewhere that isn't my residence to allow the pressing to happen. If for some reason we do not press you will be refunded (as well as notified), or as some fans have requested upgrading their order to the SMW LP bundle set. Either way, if it does not go to press money will be refunded/diverted, etc. We are not thieves. But I am trying my best to make it happen" monkeymanky
FailureByDesign
For anyone who has ordered either of these on vinyl, the band is expecting to have them sometime after July 23rd monkeymanky

FailureByDesign
My copy of SPSP just shipped a few hours ago. Can't wait to get it, they look amazing from the facebook photos I've seen the last few days and so do the SMW records!
