You have to buy two records to get a colored copy???

I've heard of having to buy a deluxe merchnow bundle to get a specific color of a record but this is something else...

Right? It doesn't make any sense. More interested in So Pretty, So Plastic anyways. I haven't listened to anything on the new album, but the cover art looks like something from Runescape

So they are actually charging money for a record that doesn't exist yet and won't even go into production for 60 days, and that is only if they raise enough money to actually press everything? So because they are being 'DIY' you will have no protection from Paypal, Kickstarter, etc.

This is going to turn out poorly.

The album is finished already, they just need to press it.  It won't cost the band anything to not press them if enough orders don't get placed.  I've dealt with his label (Tribunal Records) many times in the past and have 100% faith that they would stick to their word.

I wasn't sure if they'd lessened them or gotten rid of them altogether. I just noticed a lot of people complaining about the band's new sound

Yeah I didn't think anyone listened to this band for anything other than the "Sample/Blastbeat/Sample/Sample/Blastbeat/Sample" novelty ridiculousness. Trying to be a real band isn't going to really work. Just make a new band.

I've always thought Matt has a unique voice as far as deathcore vocalists go, but maybe that's just me

Realize I'm kind of beating a dead horse here, but...

In case anyone still cares or for anyone who hasn't seen this thread yet, the band put an update about the So Pretty, So Plastic LP on their facebook today. It said that the 300 preorders haven't been reached yet, but it still might get pressed if the band finds more storage space. They'll also be pressed on clear with red splatter now instead of while

Can still preorder signed copies of it here: http://suffermywrath.bigcartel.com/product/so-pretty-so-plastic-limited-edition-lp

Looks like this is a go! Now the wait for my vinyl begins in earnest (8-10 weeks).

This seems to be for the new album, I don't see anything there about the So Pretty, So Plastic repress.

Awesome! I've been keeping up with the band's facebook posts and it still sounds like So Pretty So Plastic is getting pressed if they find some additional storage room somehow. It seems like they're leaning towards pressing it, but we'll see

Got an email from Matt saying everything that was put on the website plus this:

"Those of you who pre-ordered the So Pretty So Plastic LP we are still seeking a location for storage before going to press.  We DID NOT meet the magic number, but as previous noted on Facebook the issue is space in my home for all the vinyl that did not sell during pre-order and I am still working on storing it somewhere that isn't my residence to allow the pressing to happen.  If for some reason we do not press you will be refunded (as well as notified), or as some fans have requested upgrading their order to the SMW LP bundle set.  Either way, if it does not go to press money will be refunded/diverted, etc.  We are not thieves.  But I am trying my best to make it happen"
