WTF, my debit card is suddenly coming declined. On the phone with my bank now, saying there is fraud on my account. Waiting on hold with the fraud department now.... Ugh, it worked fine earlier today at work.

The Grado SR80e are $99, and are great headphones. Edit: Oops, they are open back, so sound leaks in and out. Closed back headphones don't usually sound as good.

I finally got the SL-D2 cleaned up, and the new AT95B cartridge installed. Sounds really good for a cheap table, and cleaned up pretty nice. I'll probably only be using it for a week or two though, but it's a nice back-up table to have. Does aligning a cartridge ever stop being really stressful? I'm always so worried about damaging the diamond. I think I got it aligned good, since there is no distortion or IGD. Testing some cheaper record before tossing on good stuff. Edit: I aligned it with Stevenson, does the cart. look kinda far back in the headshell? It lined up with both marks, but I don't remember my ATPL120 ever being that far back.

Yeah, most of his source stuff is terrible, which might be part of why I don't like his stuff. It's usually way to clean and sorta bright, but he does do a good job when it should be more dirty like Nothing and Turnover.

I usually hate Will Yip production, but he did an amazing job on ToT.

Discogs.com You'll have to compare the matrix on the records to find your pressing. If they are old 60's and 70's LPs, they are likely not worth more than a few bucks each. They pressed a lot of those by the 100's of thousands, if not more.

That's why I loved working second shift. Being awake, when everyone else is asleep is awesome. Plus night > day. Sleeping 4-5 to noon or 1 was amazing.

The AT95E I order is out for delivery, so looks like I'll finally be spinning some records tonight. Hopefully the belt for my other table comes in today too, so the shop can finish fixing it.

Yeah, if you move at all in your sleep it probably agitates it a bit. The show sounds like it was a blast though, so it's good it healed enough for you to jump around.

I've been listening to only digital for the past few weeks, since my table is still in the shop. I'm just staring about my new back-up table now, since it ha no cartridge. Hopefully the AT95E I ordered will be here Monday, so I can start spinning my backlog.

It's fucking hot today, 95F, with a chance of strong storms. It's worse since it was in the 60's all week. Only going to be 70 tomorrow. What odd weather. Also all these damn bikers make it hard to go anywhere. There is a huge mansion around the corner from my house, where they held some of the first AA meetings, so the street is littered with bikers going to visit it.
