Just got an email from What Records about a big sale of theirs. They say there's more on the site but the email itself included this huge list, some really good stuff on it:

The band tweeted this morning that the splatter version has sold out on pre-order but they're likely to have more in independent stores on release week. They've also announced a HMV exclusive neon yellow edition, so that's four copies of this record I'm gonna end up with

Of course I pre-ordered that 'Rockstar Edition' and then also pre-ordered the black vinyl from elsewhere. I've got every release they've put out including a few test presses. Speaking of which, I wonder how many copies of the test press on their official store there actually are? They're still on sale so it must be a lot

Looks like the RRP for this in the UK is about £70 (Norman Records have it at £67.99) so anyone interested I'd recommend pre-ordering from Amazon now as it's only £57.75 and they don't take payment until it's dispatched

My signed copy turned up today, it was loose in a box you could almost fit an expedit in! I'm in the UK but it has somehow avoided any seam splits etc which is ridiculous all things considered

Did they mention a release date at all?

I managed to get one of these as I had a day off work and live close to Banquet. From what I've been told by a few people they have recorded a new album and this is a promo 7" of a track called Year Of Hate which is going to be on the new album. There's a runout etching of "24/7 rockstar shit www.thecribs.com/247" but that URL currently redirects you to a mailing list, I assume the link will go live at some point this week and the album could follow as soon as this weekend! It's hand-numbered out of 247, each store is getting around 15-20 copies

Discogs says HMV in the UK are selling the clear variant too. Gonna go down tomorrow to the one by me and see if they have any

Mine is the same shade as yours but with yellow marbling, I love it! Also didn't have to pay any customs fees which is a bonus

UK Residents: the special edition directly from Omnian only has $7.75 shipping. With my bank's exchange rate I got it for just under £24 delivered.

Ordered two records from them at the end of July, two separate dispatch emails and only one record has turned up! I've emailed them today but it will be interesting to see if another courier has crashed.

The band's official channels released the below today about the 20th anniversary release for The Great Southern Trendkill. Looks like the album will be re-released with a bonus disc of outtakes, remixes, instrumentals etc. The bonus disc is also getting released as a standalone LP. Anyone who's heard the bootleg of their gig at Dynamo in Holland in 1998 should be excited for the live bonus tracks as they're taken from that gig. Phil was completely wasted that night and it's hilarious: "We know you have been waiting (not so) patiently for this! The Great Southern Trendkill: 20th Anniversary Edition will be released on October 21, 2016. This two-disc set includes the original album remastered, plus a dozen previously unreleased mixes, instrumentals, and live recordings.
