Never heard of this before, thanks!
Oh I thought he was well known already and doesn't really fit the 80s vibe of this thread but I'm hooked on his stuff.
Also of course retropromenade
Will see Perturbator live mid-may, hope he'll play some new songs !You guys should check out Carpenter Brut !
Y'all should check out the other synthwave type artists blood music has released, Gost and Dan Terminus
You guys should check out Carpenter Brut !
Just dropping this here
Snagged both versions !
Just dropping this here
I missed the drop. Gutted to miss out on the splatter, but I managed to snag a red before they sold out. I was monitoring the situation, but completely missed that they were going on sale last week.
Fuck! Had no idea those Carpenter Brut albums were going up so soon. I checked in the beginning of the month and it seemed like they were still a ways down the line. Totally bummed now. If for some reason anyone has one they're willing to part with, let me know.
Yeah, exactly the same here. I suspect they'll see a repress though, so don't worry too much.
Wish I Knew, but my Brother got the ultra-limited one and he got me the limited red !
Received the triple cds too !
Really hoping a repress comes to fruition. I'm sure it will based on how fast it seems these sold out.
Back on topic -- Blood Music just posted that they're preparing to release the three Perturbator EP's (Night Driving Avenger, Nocturne City and Sexualizer). I'm assuming preorders for those won't be live until late summer/early fall though. Excited regardless!
Hopefully it won't be so bad or I'll settle for CD. Why do the Terror 404 and I Am the Night CD art look like that? Funny that Perturbator is even on iTunes.
They got redrawn by the dude who did the artwork for Dangerous Days
Thats too bad.
Harsh, but fair.
Oh oops hopefully I didnt hurt anyones feelings but I really like the original Terror 404. Dangerous Days looks great though.

a rage about it in other threads, but fits here as well. nightsatan.
that carpenter brut trilogy tho. damn.
Hell yes on Nightsatan. Their first album, Midnight Laser Warrior, is amazing. Some really great John Carpenter-esque stuff on that one. Their 2nd LP is not as good, IMHO, but still solid.
Here's a fan-made video for one of the songs of the 1st LP. I don't know the movie but it fits well with the music. Looks like an 80's post-apocalyptic movie.
Death to false laser metal!
I checked out the nightsatan LP after all the praise in the mondo thread, but (and apparently it's just me) I found it really.... boring.
Yeah, I was pretty bored with the new Nightsatan too. Way too much hype when there's plenty of other similar acts (ie; about everything dropped in this thread) doing the same thing, but much better. I do agree that their first LP was much better, though.
perturbator, carpenter brut, and others on the hotline miami 2 soundtrack. final pressing of the collector's edition vinyl preorders here. package looks awesome, 24 tracks on 3 LPs, $60 + shipping.

Can confirm how rad the HL2 package is. Everything sounds great and the packaging is nice and heavyweight. 60 is a bit steep, but if you can afford to drop the cash, I advise you to do so.
Also it comes with the game on PS4 or PC, so there's that.
