For the blu-ray? Has nothing to do with the art for me. Already have it on the LP.. I love the movie - and somehow have yet to buy it for my personal collection. I also really enjoy steelbooks in general so this just seems like the perfect combination for me. But I've also bought 8 copies of Scott Pilgrim v.s. the World with various special editions to date - so I'm a special kind of dumb.

Excited for tomorrow. Upset I missed the Drive group buy. And - beyond pleased with Looper. Got my LP + 7'' today and it's worth every penny. Makes me really excited to see how GOTG turns out.

Yeah there are a stupid amount of games I want this holiday. I started working 4 hours a week at gamestop just to get that employee discount. It'll save my ass.

I stumbled upon this dude last night and did more research into it than I should have. He sells out shows. Blowing my mind. In the process I also stumbled upon Spooky Black / Lil Spook and that, I can't help but love.

And the prints are ink on paper, that you'll put in an overpriced frame. It's all subjective. Would a cheaper variant have been a huge plus? sure. But when you're releasing the product - that's your decision.

Most importantly, who cares. If you want it / are willing to pay for it - go for it. Think it's too much? don't. They made it and can charge whatever they want for it. This is ~art~ and it's worth what people are willing to pay - which I bet in a few months will be a whole lot more than $60.

Tried getting into the full mondo catalog but with the items I was already missing... and now the insane amount coming out of the con, not to mention the merger with Death Waltz? I don't think I can financially keep up. Might be selling a few items off... If not I'll try and trade some of my Batman 7''s and Studio Ghibli variants to fill some gaps...
