  1. It's on backorder? I just ordered this last week and got it in the mail a few days ago.
  2. I just got it from SRC for $15.99: http://www.shopradiocast.com/products/Lights-%252d-Siberia.html
  3. I think the one on the website comes with some additional stuff. However, it's the same price.
  4. I wanted to be good looking, but you already sold all the records that I wanted to ugly people
  5. If you have an eBay account or some other account that can show positive feedback as a buyer.
  6. Awesome. Yeah the glow sticks look a lot better than the LED lights, in my opinion.
  7. I like the concept. I wish the entire platter lit up and that it didn't look like Christmas lights. However, I understand how some people might like it.
  8. Thanks! That was cool. I wonder if there's a way to attach the lights to the bottom of the platter so that the lights rotate? I also wonder if there's such a thing that could illuminate the entire platter so that if you play a colored vinyl, the light that would shine through would reflect the color of the record. Nevertheless, awesome video. Thanks again!
  9. I know IVWT is now a record label, but it's hard to find another online retailer that had their selection, prices, and discounts when they used to sell a variety of records. When I first started collecting, I got a lot of records from them. Anyone else have any favorite online record retailers that have a similar selection and frequent discounts like IVWT?
  10. I guess I could never justify paying $235 for a platter when a Pro-ject Debut Carbon is only $400. The platter looks really cool, though.
  11. Not to be a pessimist, but I don't think it's going to work out. If I didn't reach out to Insound, I'm pretty sure they would have just ignored my order and not even send an email notification saying it had been cancelled. Therefore, I reached out to them and finally managed to get a 15% discount on the acrylic platter that I ordered. I doubt you can get the 15% discount anymore (I think it was a November/December promotion) on the Pro-ject Debut Carbon, though, since they didn't let me get the discount on the cheaper phono preamp I wanted.
  12. I'm sure you'd get a few more bites if you organized the list better with capital letters and a dash between the artist name and name of the record. Also, you should list a ppd price for these, or just say like x records for x dollars. Just a friendly suggestion.
  13. You can place the record directly onto an acrylic platter as well. Therefore, I'm sure there's not too much difference. However, I have a white Pro-ject Debut Carbon, and I like the white on white look.
  14. There seems to be a really fine line between flipping and legitimately selling. Not too long ago, I saw someone selling a copy of the red pressing of Something Corporate's Leaving Through The Window for around $65. A lot of members on here said that he had great prices and therefore, I just kept my mouth shut. I've seem similar instances with records that were recently released. So, at what point does selling a record at a jacked up price become flipping? Is there an unwritten grace period between when a record is released and when you can sell it at an inflated price?
  15. Can we get a video of the platter playing with the LED lights attached? I want to see what it looks like when a colored vinyl is spinning.
  16. I emailed them again and told them that they should honor my order since the shopping cart reflected the price after discount. They stopped responding to me, so I just told them to cancel the order so that I could order my Rega Fono Mini on Sound Stage Direct, since it's the last day of their 11% off sale. I have a feeling people at Insound are freaking out right now because they have all these orders that can't be fulfilled. Someone's getting fired haha.
  17. Got an email from Insound: So they're not honoring new orders?
