  1. Yup, used my Discwasher pad and some cleaning fluid I picked up the other day. Same issues still there.
  2. Ha. Ok kids. I took the first step you guys suggested and removed it from the sealed package. Wow! What a difference that made! But it seems there is STILL some surface noise on the B side of the record between songs! Imagine that! I would have posted the whole setup and all, but I doubt it's the issue as it's only one side of one record. I've never had any other issue with any other record. And to be sure I played a bunch of other LP's afterwards just to be sure. The A-side sounds perfectly fine.
  3. What would cause this, especially on a new sealed record? This static, loud surface noise only is heard near the end of tracks and between songs on the B-side of a record I just purchased new. Looking at it under the light I see some minor imperfections, but nothing else that would cause this issue. I guess it's not a huge deal since I only notice it between songs, but I wonder if that's only because the music drowns it out. If anyone is wondering it's a reissue of The Vandals - The Quickening that I bought off Interpunk. I noticed they didn't even get the track listing right on the sleeve, so maybe this issue was done poorly? I dunno. Makes me mad. I just had to return a copy of that 20th anniversary edition of "In Utero" because there was a huge scratch on one side of a sealed new record.
  4. Thanks for that. I didn't see the US listings for The Vandals. I messaged the guy about the Big D record the other day to verify condition, but haven't heard anything back.
  5. Not that I know of. I know there was that special 7" for some Kickstarters, but it looks like it's just two songs off of the "Stomp" record on one side. Wonder if the two missing songs from "Stroll" are the other side? Did anyone here get that 7"?
  6. Bump up. Edited the title to show the bands I'd like the most to have.
  7. My records came today. They sound great and I'm glad to finally add them to the collection. The only negative is they took two songs off of the "Stroll" record. It's not a huge deal to me, as I wasn't nearly as into that record as I thought I would be, but usually Big D adds an extra song to their vinyl releases. Also, similar to "The Damned, The Dumb, And The Delirious" they changed the order of the songs on both vinyl releases. I added them to Discogs for those who are interested in seeing the changes in order.
  8. I bought a used Technics 1200 a few months ago. I'm guessing it's an old DJ one, but everything seemed fine with it and the shop said they had gone over it and already set it up. I only just noticed that there seems to be a small bit of wobble to the platter. The only reason I even noticed was because you can see it slightly in the strobe. The dots kinda move up and down a small amount. Obviously there is an issue. I already did the research in terms of easy solutions, but nothing worked. Thus far it has caused no issues in terms of records skipping or anything like that. Sound quality is fine also as far as I can tell. No pitch issues either. I guess the big question is how big of an issue this is? I wish I could get a video of it, but I don't really have a way. Maybe my girlfriend's iPhone. Either way, can I get an opinion of how huge of an issue this is in the long run? Thanks. I'm kind of a newb at turntable honestly, so take that into account.
  9. Bumpage. Here are the records I'm most interested in at the moment. Big D & The Kids Table / Lounge - Big D & The Kids Table / Lounge split Big D & The Kids Table / Melt-Banana - Big D & The Kids Table / Melt-Banana split Goldfinger - Spokeman Goldfinger - 99 Red Balloons The Vandals - Live Fast Diarrhea Broadway Calls - Self Titled
  10. Right now I'm looking mainly to finish off my Big D and the Kids Table and Goldfinger collections, so send offers for those guys in particular. Thanks!
  11. Oh I like that. I'm glad I went with the swirl. It matches the album art pretty well. Lucky you man!
  12. Sending this back up to get random offers.
  13. Glad I finally found a copy of this, despite the sleeve being completely wrecked. Now I just need "Live Fast, Diarrhea". http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rare-Vandals-Hitler-bad-Vandals-good-Vinyl-Good-c-1998-Nitro-Lyrics-Insert-/111175038756?nma=true&si=Vsp7v4KS6ZHaGbh1ZYk%252FeZeFDLc%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
  14. As funny as that Matrix thing is, this guy is a good seller despite the low post count. I'm debating picking up some things I skipped last time.
  15. Nice, I can't wait for this PO to go live. I'm debating the blue splatter or the half Blue/Yellow.
  16. Those are pretty cool. Where'd you find that? I don't see anything on Fat Wreck.
  17. $18 LP + $2.08 tax + $10 shipping = Nope. I'd like this record but not that much.
  18. FYI, for those who don't check Asbestos on Facebook: "[The Suicide Machines] - Destruction by Definition, Battle Hymns, and the bonus 7"s... the plant is telling us we'll have them in hand within 2 weeks, and we'll begin shipping immediately!"
  19. So has anyone seen any updates on when these are coming out? I thought it originally had an August release date, which was then pushed to a few days ago, but I have yet to hear any updates.
  20. I may need this to compliment The Vandal's "Oi To The World".
